The 5-Day Tour du Cap is South Africa’s premier road stage event, and caters for amateurs and pros. The Tour takes place on the beautiful cycling roads of the Boland from 3-7 March 2025, encompassing a total distance of 464km and 5245m vertical ascent.

01 STARTING GROUPS
- All CSA licensed racing groups facilitated as well as an open/seeded group consisting of 150 riders.
- Age group category bunches for all men's age groups cyclists with a CSA Racing Licence (Elite Men, Veterans 30+, Veterans 40+, Veterans 50+ and Veterans 60+)

02 DAILY BATCH STARTING TIMES
Daily starts (with the exception of the Time Trial, which will start at 08h00)
Open group starting first at 08:00, individually, at 30 sec intervals.
Thereafter Vets 40+ & Women- 06h15: Elite Men/Junior/U23
- 06h25: Vets 30 +
- 06h25: Vets 40 +
- 06h25: Vets 50 +
- 06h25: Elite Ladies
- 06h35: Open/Seeded

03 BATCH RIDER LIMITS
The total amount of entries for the Tour will be limited to 450 riders with bunches made up provisionally as follows:
- Elite Men/Junior/U23 (Teams limited to 6 riders): 70 riders
- Vets 30 +: 60 riders
- Vets 40 +: 70 riders
- Vets 50 +: 70 riders
- Elite Ladies: 30
- Open/Seeded bunch: 150

04 REGISTRATION
- Bicycle Garage, Frater Square (Main Road Paarl) Sunday 3 March 2024, from 12:00 - 17:00
- CSA Managers race meeting at Bicycle Garage at 17:00 (compulsory for all Racing Category riders/managers).

CSA Racing Elite Men
General Classification, Sprinters, King of the Mountains, Best Young Rider (Junior), and Teams Classification. The Best Young Rider is applicable to Juniors racing in the elite bunch.
Points in the Sprinter's as well as KOM jersey competition will be allocated as follows at primes:
Points: 6-4-2/p>
KOM: 3-2-1
Points will be allocated to the Sprinter’s Jersey at stage finishes as follows: 10-6-4.
NO TIME BONUSES ARE AWARDED AT ANY HOTSPOTS OR STAGE FINISHES
Elite Team competition
The cumulative time of the 3 best daily finishers in a team will count towards the Elite Teams Classification.
Elite teams limited to 6 riders.
